Tomb Raider… with Maths… Physics… And Chemistry.
The Eureka Project is skoool's innovative learning game concept. The core concepts from Key Stage 3 Maths & Science curricula are deeply embedded in the game; the learner is having fun and learning at the same time!
As the learner progresses through the game by applying the fundamental principles of Maths & Science, all the time increasing in skill level, he or she is also getting better at the game, and so on…
For students, school work is based on learning facts & figures - game-based learning is based on practise, application, analysis and problem-solving. The application of these skills and knowledge in practical and real world contexts is presented in an entertaining, challenging and immersive way through the game.

Task and activity-based learning has significant impact on highly conceptual subjects (eg. Maths & Science) by providing real-world context.

"games may well be the best tool we have for teaching Maths & Science"
- Prof. James Paul Gee, Dept. Of Curriculum & Instruction, Univ. of Wisconsin
- Learning by stealth- the Player/Learner is conquering challenges, but learning concepts and skills by the application of these to real-world challenges.
- The Player/Learner interacts with the game as a self-generated male or female adventurer within a large, engaging game environment.
- There are engaging, rich and unique game environments for the player to explore and interact with, with a high level of re-playabilty by virtue of the order of puzzles, randomness and difficulty settings.
- The learning concepts in the game are mapped to Key Stage 3 curricula and are viewable online for a teacher's benefit, but invisible to the Player/Learner.
- Using Adaptive Learning principles, the level of difficulty will according to the Player/Learner's behaviour, efforts and progress in the game.
- The Player/Learner's progress monitored and scored throughout the game.
- There is a Multiplayer mode featuring co-operation as well as competition.
- Humorous story line and engaging characterisations draw the Player/Learner into the game.
- 3 levels of in-game help tools available - hint, guidance and solution - but the Player/Learner is always left to work out the final part of the puzzle/challenge themselves.

A mad scientist is attempting to alter the fabric of the world's science. Should his mad scheme to prove his genius to the world succeed, the damage to the planet would be catastrophic.
Can you stop him?
For decades Professor Rubaglov has been the subject of much daytime TV speculation and tabloid journalist fodder. What else would you expect of a man who claims the whole world of science to be pure bunk? He claims that only he truly understands the secrets of science but to date no-one has paid him much attention - nothing he ever claimed to have discovered or invented ever worked (well, not for long, anyway.)
Recently his activities have drawn the attention of Control, the agency responsible for the protection of the world's scientific knowledge.
Control has discovered that the Professor has set a world-altering experiment in motion. If it is not put to an end shortly, the entire world could be in serious jeopardy.
Control has one of their agents to infiltrate the professor's lair and put an end to his evil schemes. You are that agent.
The fate of the world now rests within 'The Eureka Project'.
