Primary BLOODHOUND SSC
Open to all primary and preparatory schools, this project enables children to engage with the BLOODHOUND SSC project by designing and making a stored energy powered vehicle which is timed and the results up-loaded to an on-line league. Children who are home educated are invited to be involved with the project either via the Primary BLOODHOUND SSC Family resources or the Community leagues. For further information please email red@primarybloodhoundssc.com
Enrolment onto the project provides the school with resources to deliver the activity as a classroom based project using design and technology as a way of teaching practical maths and science. The project is designed to be delivered as a whole class activity (half a terms work), or it can be adapted as part of a club or as a taster/engineering day.
Enrolment to the Primary BLOODHOUND SSC project also enables access to the Community league. This is a league where primary aged children can work with older children, family members, Science and Engineering Ambassadors on the primary challenge – here is an opportunity to engage the wider community to support the children and the school.
